About Me

Hi, I’m David Turner, a 25 year old Web Developer & Designer born and based in Northern Ireland. I started actively developing and working for clients late in 2008, though I have been dabbling in web design and code for upwards of 10 years.

Most of this time was spent learning and refining my skills with HTML, CSS & JavaScript and I have since moved onto learning PHP and jQuery.

This site is my online home, a place where people can view my work, read my blog and get in touch with me. I won’t make you leave my site to see my work and I don’t show you just images. I’m proud enough of my work to share it with you on my own site — I don’t code poor sites.

So what do I do?

I produce web sites for both myself and clients. I strive to ensure that my work is done in such a manner to ensure that it works well for my clients, their clients and in a manner that will result in it being as findable as possible on search engines such as Google, Bing & Yahoo. I do this by keeping my code clean and valid. This results in less problems all round for users of the site.

I also strive to ensure that sites I produce are as easy to use and update as possible. Where possible I make use of popular Content Management Systems to allow people full control over their content, as well as the design of their site. This makes it very easy to implement changes in the future. I won’t produce work for a package I don’t believe meets a client’s needs.
